Challenge: Gateway is a software that helps Congress members keep in touch with their constituents via emails. The main challenge was to find the balance between delivering the functionality and the intuitiveness of using the software.

Solution: Vizualle approached this analysis and strategy project by setting up two parallel processes - research and visual. The research process included looking at competitors and analyzed their information architecture, usability, technical requirements and more. The result of the research process was a report assessing the current positioning of the Gateway software in relations to competitors. The report identified a list of strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities.

The visual process was based on getting familiar with the technical requirements, as well as executing some of the conclusions of the research. A study of colors, image perception, information architecture and more, were the core of this process. The result was a design of all major section of the application, including a visual guideline for how to use basic design elements as a template.
